Cambrils
I have to admit, we haven't spent as much time as we would have liked in Cambrils. However, it looks like a lovely town, we would like to explore it more. Nevertheless, my impression of Cambrils:
Cambrils has more than 9 kilometers of sandy beaches, including a dog friendly option. They are known for their clean water and a variety of services. Along the beaches, there's a promenade where you can enjoy either a stroll or a bike ride.
In front of the port of Cambrils we discovered Torre del Port (eng. The Port Tower). It is a defensive watchtower built in the 17th century. Today, it's a symbol of Cambrils' marine history.
Approximately 10 minutes by car from the center of Cambrils, you will find Parc Samà. It's a historic garden with various animals like macaws, deer, turkeys, and pheasants running around a waterfall. In the park, you'll also find a large Indian labyrinth and a museum where you can learn about wine cellars, vermouth, and oil. This park covers 14 hectares and is rich in history, nature, and culture. It's a part of the European Network of Historical Gardens and is known for its romantic and modernist landscaping.
Feel free to send me your suggestions for must-visit places in the province of Castellón and beyond.
